Sunshine House is one of the original Wentzell family homes, built in the 19th century, and is owned by Windhorse Farm neighbours and friends, Kip & Shannon. It offers beautiful country views over another neighbour's fields and across Wentzell's Lake.
The main house consists of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, eat-in kitchen, living room, and covered verandah. There are 9 beds that can sleep 11 people. The downstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds and a single bed in a window nook. Two of the upstairs bedrooms each contain a double bed, and the other two each have 2 twin beds. This part of the house is heated by a wood/oil furnace.
The attached Carriage House includes an additional kitchen, dining area, and large living room. There are also 9 more single beds here; 5 share a large open room with skylights and there are 2 bedrooms that each have 2 single beds. The Carriage House is heated by wood stove.
The house is fully furnished. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, kettle, and coffee-maker. Linens and towels are provided.
